Adam West

The difference between the live-action and the animated version of Adam West in Anime: Camp Generations.

Adam West (born September 19, 1928) is an American actor best known for his lead role in the 1960s TV series Batman and the film of the same name. He is currently known for portraying eccentric versions of himself, as well as his voice work on animated series such as The Fairly OddParents, The AnimeLand and Family Guy.

Unlike his previous works, references and mentions of Batman or West's role of Batman have been referenced in the series during his first appearance in the series, along with his role as Catman from The Fairly OddParents. He is also the first actor in the show to play the animated version of himself in the series (known to the characters as a real-world person transported into the animated world to avoid breaking the fourth wall).

West also plays another role besides his own animated form; he provided the voice of Proto from Batman: The Brave and the Bold in an episode. West reunited with his friend Burt Ward (who played Robin in the 60s series) in an episode where it took place in an old Egyptian setting where West plays an old Egyptian emperor while Ward plays his nephew.

Adam makes a return in Anime: Omniverse animated in his current appearance in real life. Also, due to strict reasons and because of the Beware the Batman premiering on Cartoon Network, references to him being Batman have been dropped.

Adam West likes to play his role as Catman and being as himself. Adam is fond of the characters and he knows Ben. Everybody, including Ben Tennyson, loves/likes Adam West. In one episode, Adam West appeared as the star of Principal McRodgers. In this episode, it also features the appearance of Yo-Yo Ma, Fred Rodgers and Art Garfunkle.

In one episode, Elmo was driving with him and they end up in a disco dancing to the song "Thriller" sung by Michael Jackson, parodying that of a Brak video.

In the episode, Pharaohs, Adam West reunited with his friend, Burt Ward, who used to play Robin in the 1960s Batman, in which Adam plays King Adamnoken and Burt plays King Adamnoken the Second. As you can see, the characters images that they played in the Batman show are seen in there crowns. Ward later returns in the favor by appearing in the episode "Adam Abbott and Burt Castello" as himself.

Adam West makes numerous appearances throughout the series making him a remarkable character. The characters in the cartoon show call West the "first real-world man to be a cartoon" which is not true as Michael Jackson was the first to guest star as himself but Aaron Carter was the first ever guest star of the Anime series.

As in the AnimeLand where Michael Jackson is the worlds #1 famous singer, West is the worlds #1 favorite actor.
